Before & After Care

 To prevent any complications and to make sure your a suitable candidate for Microblading, please review the information below: 

• Do not wax, tweeze or have electrolysis one week before your procedure.
• Do not tan or have a sunburnt face two weeks prior. 
• Do not have any type of facial two weeks prior.
• Do not tint eyebrows two weeks prior.
• Do not have Botox 3 weeks prior. 
• Do not work out the day of your procedure.
• Please note you will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.

In order to minimize bleeding and achieve desired color deposit 

• Do not consume alcohol 24 hours prior.
• Do not consume coffee before your procedure. 

The day of treatment you may have some oozing, which is just excess lymph fluid. Blot with a clean tissue to absorb fluid every few minutes until it stops.

The first seven days wash daily to remove bacteria and dead skin cells. This DOES NOT remove the pigment.

Use an antibacterial soap, such as, dial to wash with in gentle circular motion for about 10  seconds. DO NOT do this in the shower as you do not want the full force of the shower on your brows. Pat dry with a clean towel and apply a thin layer of Aquaphor. Continue this regiment twice a day for 7 days. 

• Do not use any products containing acids (glycolic, lactic, AHA) , or exfoliants of any type.
• Use a fresh pillow case
• No facials, chemical treatments, Botox, or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks
• Avoid sleeping face down for 10 days 
• Let any dry skin or scabbing exfoliate  naturally, picking can cause pigment  loss and scarring
• Avoid heavy sweating and long hot showers for 10 days 
• Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for the first 4 weeks. Wear a hat when outside
• Avoid topical makeup and sunscreen
• DO NOT scratch, pick or rub your newly microbladed brows!!
